Emily Hill takes to the stand to make her Maiden Speech at General Synod
Published on: 14th July 2022Emily Hill took to the stand at General Synod last weekend to give her maiden speech. Emily who is 21 years old and a trainee nurse, is one of the lay representatives for Hereford Diocese and the youngest ever member to be elected to the General Synod. She spoke passionately during the assisted dying debate before a packed house of representatives.
