People attended events across Herefordshire and South Shropshire to hear the proclamation of King Charles III read from town halls, churches and Cathedrals on Sunday afternoon.
Crowds covered the grass outside the West End of Hereford Cathedral for the county's official proclamation. The Bishop of Hereford, the Rt Revd Richard Jackson and Dean of Hereford were in attendance.
The National Anthem was sung and cheers rang out for King Charles III.
The Cathedral raised the Union Jack for the proclamation before being lowered to half-mast again while the period of mourning for Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II continues.
