The Bishop of Hereford Bluecoat School Trust came about when the new BHBS school site was built back in the late 80's. The trust combines several charities linked to selling the old school's land and buildings across the city.

A few weeks ago, St Mary’s Church, Cusop, Herefordshire which is part of Abbeydore Deanery marked a first with the commissioning of Local Minister, John Winter. The celebration service is the first in the diocese following the launch of the new local ministry roles.

A new food bank opened earlier this month run by a group of churches working together in Pontesbury as demand for help continues to rise. The UK’s food poverty rate is already among the highest in Europe. Despite being the sixth richest country in the world, millions are struggling to access the food they need.
The Diocese of Hereford has completed and published a review of more than 2000 files, with the publication today of its Past Cases Review 2 (PCR2) report.
