The next team member we meet in our two-minute interview is Kerry Preedy.
Kerry is a well-known face in the diocese, she began working for the diocese in 2006. She started out as a receptionist and has worked up to become HR & Office Manager. Kerry has two young children, Chloe and Olivia, and she is married to Paul. She enjoys shopping, eating out and being with friends. She is a people person.
I: Hello Kerry. Thanks for taking part in the 2-min interview and for letting us share your photograph. Our first question is nice - What is your favourite food?
KP: That’s easy..Chocolate. Everyone knows I have a secret chocolate draw.
I: It’s good to know you have a secret chocolate draw. What is your favourite Book/Film/Netflix series?
KP: I’m not much of a reader; I don’t have the time to do it, but I enjoy watching programmes such as Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, SWAT, 911, and Station 19.
I. So our last and final question is very predictable and you probably know this already. It's the one we ask everyone. What do you enjoy about working at Hereford Diocese?
KP: For me, it has to be the team I work with, it sounds corny, but it is like having an extended family! Everyone is caring and there for you. I’ve gone through every major life event with most of the team here, I got married, and had my children, and they have also been there through the tougher times. It’s also how I found my best friend Sally (who works in accounts) As I said I’m very much a people person and that’s what I enjoy the most…the people!
