This event will include a teaching session from Bishop Richard on proclaiming our faith to others. The event will begin at 9:30 am and end at 1:00 pm with repeated workshops, allowing participants to choose two of the three workshops.  The three workshops  will explore the five marks of Anglican mission:

  1. TELL - To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom
  2. TEACH - To teach, baptise and nurture new believers
  3. TEND - To respond to human need by loving service
  4. TRANSFORM - To transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence of every kind and pursue peace and reconciliation
  5. TREASURE - To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth

Workshop 1 is expected to focus on schools, education,  youth, children and families.  Our Intergenerational Mission lead, Elizabeth Hackney, will lead it in partnership with our Education Team.

Workshop 2 will focus on the environment and how we can care for God's creation.  Our diocesan mission enabler, Revd Steve Hollinghurst, will lead this

Workshop 3 will focus on Caring for those in need and how we can work for justice.  Our diocesan Messy Church lead will lead this, Kathy Bland who is also the Chair of Trustees for the Leominster Foodbank and has set up a foodshare project in the community.
