  • The Revd Sue Hodgetts licensed as Assistant Curate in Training – Sutton Hill and Woodside, July 2026.
  • The Revd Pauline Mack licensed as Assistant Curate in Training – Madeley, July 2026.
  • The Revd Ian Williams licensed as Assistant Curate in Training – Pontesbury (Benefice) and Minsterley, Habberley and Hope with Shelve Benefice, July 2026.
  • The Revd Owen Pembery licensed as Curate, Ross with Walford and Brampton Abbotts, effective July 2026.
  • The Revd Andrew Falconer will be leaving the diocese, effective Autumn 2026, to take up a post in Winchester Diocese.
  • The Revd Fran Brealey is retiring as Associate Minister in the Minsterley, Habberley and Hope with Shelve Benefice and Associate Minister in the Pontesbury Benefice, effective August 2026; she remains the Diocesan Advisor for Women’s Ministry.
  • The Revd Ruth Leigh has retired as Associate Vicar in the Westbury, Worthen and Yockleton Benefice, effective June 2026.
  • The Revd Preb Steve Hollinghurst was licensed as Rural Dean for Kington & Weobley, effective August 2026, and remains Rector Presteigne with Discoed, Kinsham, Lingen & Knill (Benefice)
  • The Revd Mandy WIlliams will be retiring as Rector of The Hop Churches (Benefice), effective December 2026.
  • The Revd Preb Dr Chris Moore retired as Rural Dean for Ledbury, effective July 2026, all other roles remain unchanged.
  • The Rt Revd Vivienne Faull was licensed as Honorary Assistant Bishop, Hereford Diocese, effective July 2026.
  • The Revd Giles Tulk to retire as Rector of Wentnor and Ratlinghope with Myndtown, Norbury, More, Lydham and Snead (Benefice) and Vicar of Churchstoke with Hyssington and Sarn (Benefice), effective August 2026.
  • The Revd Fiona Honeysett was licensed as Assistant Curate, Leominster Team Ministry, July 2026.

  • CORRECTION: The Revd Sarah Lupton left her role as Assistant Curate in the Cleobury Mortimer Benefice, effective August 2026, to move to Somerset where she hopes to continue her SSM ministry.
  • The Revd Rana Davies-James is to retire as Priest-in-charge Magnis Group, effective September 2026.
