Last Friday, 8 July saw Holy Trinity Church packed to the rafters as children from three schools came together in their first Choir Church service at the end of term. Lord Scudamore Academy and St Thomas Cantilupe CE School, along with helpers from Hereford Cathedral School and Holy Trinity Choir, gathered to sing Choral Evensong as part of the West Hereford Team’s Choir Church pilot.

A new choral work is set to receive its first performance at Hereford Cathedral later this month as a result of a unique competition held recently by the Cathedral’s Voluntary Choir.

Last weekend saw the return of the Church Tent to the Three Counties Show at Malvern Showground in Worcestershire. Visitors were able to enjoy a fresh cup of tea or coffee along with a bacon butty, panini or home-made cake, whilst taking part in free family activities and take time out from the crowds.
At the first ever Hay Pride earlier this month, a group of local church members took part in the procession and other celebrations.

As part of our ongoing commitment to seeing God's Kingdom grow across our diocese, a new small funding stream has been released by the Diocesan Board of Finance.
The Diocese of Hereford is pleased to announce that Revd Mark Melluish is to join the team as Diocesan Mission Enabler. This is the first time the Diocese of Hereford has appointed a Mission Enabler and marks a significant step forward in embracing missional transformation for the Church of England in this rural Diocese.
