The Benefice of Alveley and Quatt is seeking to appoint a new Rector to its two parishes. The ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable with a variety of forms of worship and service as we look to reach out to more people in our communities to tell them of the Good News of Christ. To this end, we are seeking a Rector with an interest in expanding upon our youth ministry, both through church services and work with the local school, as well as working with fellow benefices across the Deanery. The ideal candidate will also look to encourage, grow, and work alongside local lay ministers in both formal and informal roles, and be understanding and knowledgeable about the needs, wants, and challenges of rural life, which they will be able to address through their liturgical and pastoral ministry.
